We’re excited to share a recent project we worked on for our pals over at Ross Sheppard High School in Edmonton, Alberta.

We had a blast crafting some Broadway Style Signage for the Entrance to the new dedicated Theatre Space for Performing Arts Program Season that’s bound to make any passerby do a double-take.

Picture this: lively wall graphics bursting with color and images from student-led productions over the years complete with production Playbills posted on the walls. It’s like a visual journey through their creativity and talent, aiming to inspire everyone wandering those halls. Working with schools like Ross Sheppard is a joy, seeing firsthand how design can spark imagination.

Ross Sheppard High School has always been a hub of creativity and innovation, nurturing young minds and providing them with a conducive learning environment. In our ongoing partnership, PosterTech had the privilege to work on many exciting projects, enhancing the school’s atmosphere with captivating murals, a stunning media wall backdrop, and eye-catching 3D fabricated text.

@Shumka is on Tour in @Jubilee in Edmonton to the delight of their devoted fans. The brilliance and strength of the talented @Shumka dancers reflects, more than ever, the Spirit of the @Ukrainian people. @PosterTech is proud to be part of their journey. We produced and installed a large sign, 40 in. high x 16 ft. long, printed on canvas/gallery wrapped and mounted to the wall in the Lobby. A vibrant display consisting of 6 double sided backlit SEG frames presents their colorful performance photos.

Another exciting addition to the EPSB roster

Dr. Anne Anderson School is another inspiring addition to the Edmonton Public Schools roster and we are so excited to have participated by providing some great school signs. Located at 11810 35 Avenue SW, in the Heritage Valley neighbourhood of Edmonton, this high school will be one of the largest in the city. Being a brand new school, the administration took the opportunity to use signage to bring some history to the environment as well as use signage as a tool to inspire and motivate students, staff and their families.

Dr. Anne Anderson; a writer and educator

The “Grand Lady of the Métis:” Dr. Anne Anderson’s mission was to preserve the Cree language. Doctor Anne wrote nearly 100 publications. The jewel in her literary crown was her dictionary. In 1975, she translated a 38,000-word English dictionary into Cree, creating Dr. Anne Anderson’s Metis Cree Dictionary, one of the most comprehensive catalogues of the language ever assembled”.

Inspiring Students

Dr. Anne Anderson School puts a large emphasis on honoring Indigenous culture, collaboration, equity, and integrity. These are some values that we have in common when it comes to @PosterTech’s projects.

Take a peek below at some of the school signage that is proudly displayed.

Spectacular display dedicated to Indigenous Teachings and Culture consists of 15 stand-off acrylic panels, 2′ x 6′, with images printed on second surface with 3D letters on first surface.

Displayed in the Cafeteria a 5 ft. diameter metal skillet sign with raised wooden letters and a neon sign assembled on acrylic raceway with acrylic raised letters.

School signs are a favourite project of the @PosterTech team to collaborate on.

Multiplication table + Custom vinyl = A fun learning opportunity.

Custom Vinyl Signage for @Youngstown Elementary School in Edmonton, was just completed by our install team.

@PosterTech produced and installed 38 vibrant numerical decals on 3 staircases, to help students learn multiplication tables.

Team @Postertech is delighted to partner up with Edmonton Catholic Schools and supply these animal table decals for @EdmontonValleyZoo.

The art work was done by @100 VOICES – 100 Voices is a pre-Kindergarten program offered by Edmonton Catholic Schools for three and four year old’s identified with severe developmental delays. These little ones did a wonderful job with the art! The decals can be seen at Piazza and the Urban Barn!

Very exciting and challenging project, Motivational Signage for Trade Training Program @M.E.Lazerte High School in Edmonton, was just completed by our install team. @PosterTech produced and installed a giant sign in school’s Tech Room, 5 ft. high x 95 ft. long, printed directly on 3mm thick x 5 ft. x 10 ft. Dibond panels, digitally Clear Coated, assembled in a “Puzzle” pattern and mounted to the concrete wall.

Teachers and Students alike are getting ready for a new IN-PERSON school year at @McNallyHigh Edmonton. @PosterTech produced and installed two large signs, 30 in. high x 12 ft. long each, printed on 1/4 in. thick acrylic panels and mounted to the wall on aluminum standoffs.
